From 1980 when Bryn Haworth recorded his first Gospel Album ‘The Gap’  to 2010  and the release of his 12th Gospel Album ‘One Way Ticket’ Bryn has written songs incorporating the Christian message in  everyday  language couched in the finest of rhythm and blues and folk rock music.           For 20 of these years Bryn has been taking his music into prisons across the UK;  sharing the freedom of the Gospel with all who will hear; often carrying a brief case filled with CDs to give to the prison Chaplaincy departments to lend out to inmates so they can listen in their cells;  and thinking how good it would be to have one CD which was just for them – an all in one album through which they could find Jesus – the one who loves them and believes in them, and experience his transforming power in their lives.   This idea became a reality this year with funding from The Music In Ministry Trust.    The CD is free for prison inmates, but it stands on its own as a fresh new compilation of Bryn’s music and is available to buy from www.brynhaworth.com from Sept.    Every album purchased for a suggested donation of £10 each enables us to finance  more to give away to prison ministry.
